30-day money-back guarantee
If TecLab isn't working for you, email us within 30 days of your first paid charge and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked, no hoops to jump through.
How to request a refund
Email support@teclab.ai from the address associated with your account. Include:
- The email on your TecLab account
- The approximate date of purchase
- (Optional) A quick note on why — it helps us improve the product, but it's not required
We'll process refunds within 3 business days. The refund appears on your original payment method, typically in 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
What the guarantee covers
- Pro subscriptions (monthly and annual) — refundable within 30 days of the first charge
- Team subscriptions — refundable within 30 days of the first charge; team seats must be de-provisioned before refund
- Renewals after the first 30 days are not covered by the guarantee, but see the cancellation and pro-rata refund rules below
Cancellation after the 30-day window
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your dashboard (Manage subscription → Cancel). After the 30-day window:
- Monthly plans: your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid month. No partial refund of the month in progress.
- Annual plans: your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid year. No partial refund by default — but if you think there are fair circumstances (extended outage, undelivered features, etc.), email us and we'll make it right.
- Auto-renewal: cancellation stops the next automatic charge. No further action needed.
Exceptions
In rare cases we may decline a refund if:
- The request is outside the 30-day window and no extenuating circumstances apply
- The account shows clear signs of abuse (e.g. mass download of course content, template scraping, then requesting a refund)
- You were already refunded for the same subscription previously
- The charge is subject to an active chargeback or dispute with your bank
EU / UK consumer rights
If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you have the right to cancel a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. By starting to use the Service immediately after signup (accessing paid content), you acknowledge that you waive the right to withdraw once the Service has been supplied. However, our 30-day money-back guarantee is more generous than the statutory minimum and applies regardless.
Chargebacks
Please email us first before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are more costly for us than a direct refund, and we'd almost always rather resolve it ourselves. Accounts that chargeback without prior contact may be suspended and banned from future subscriptions.
