Terms of Service
Last updated: April 19, 2026
Welcome to TecLab AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TecLab AI platform at teclab.ai (the "Service"), operated by TecLab, a company registered at 209 Beeston Road, Leeds, LS11 7PB, United Kingdom ("we", "us", or "TecLab"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
TecLab AI is an online learning platform that provides video courses, interactive AI-powered tools, document templates, and related educational content focused on using artificial intelligence in business. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
2. Your account
To use most features, you need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current information when signing up
- Keep your password secure — you're responsible for everything that happens under your account
- Notify us immediately at support@teclab.ai if you suspect unauthorized access
- Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent if younger (as permitted by law)
3. Subscriptions and billing
TecLab offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (Pro, Team). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.
- Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Local currency may be displayed at checkout.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
- You can cancel anytime from your dashboard — access continues until the end of the paid period.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply to the next renewal.
- Applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) are added where required and shown at checkout.
See our Refund Policy for details on refunds and our money-back guarantee.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials or give others access to paid content you haven't paid for
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute course content, templates, or AI tool outputs at commercial scale
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying prompts or models powering our AI tools
- Use the AI tools to generate illegal, harmful, defamatory, or abusive content
- Overload, probe, or attack the Service (rate limits, security scanning, denial of service)
- Upload malicious code or content that infringes third-party rights
- Misrepresent the source of AI-generated content to mislead clients or third parties
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
5. AI-generated content
Our tools use third-party AI models (including Anthropic's Claude) to generate text, templates, and suggestions based on your input. You own the inputs you provide and, as between you and TecLab, you own the outputs you generate for your own business use — subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers.
AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You're responsible for reviewing everything before using it in real business contexts (contracts, legal advice, medical/financial decisions, etc.). Similar inputs from different users may produce similar outputs; we make no exclusivity guarantees.
6. Intellectual property
All course content, videos, templates, designs, trademarks, and code belonging to TecLab remain our property (or our licensors'). We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content while your subscription is active, solely for learning and for the internal operations of your own business.
You may not resell, republish, or bundle our content into a competing product. Team subscriptions allow access for members of your team only; they're not a license to redistribute.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates with Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and database), Anthropic (AI model), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms where applicable. We are not responsible for their availability or performance.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time by contacting support@teclab.ai. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if we stop operating the Service.
On termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or to resolve disputes — see our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations.
Course content is educational, not professional advice. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial, or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional for your specific situation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TecLab and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us in that period. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold TecLab harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Leeds, England, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction. If you're a consumer resident in the EU/UK, you retain the protections of mandatory local consumer laws.
